At the heart of our herd, an extraordinary "cow story" was born...
The Story
In the autumn of 2004, at the same time as Garance's arrival at La Gordolasque, some of you didn’t just buy our products, you "sponsored" a cow, or even half a cow. From this financial contribution, the sponsors can collect their cheese as they wish, with their share always paid at 10%. Our herd quickly grew, and so we started sponsoring the goats and sheep as well.
Becoming a Sponsor
It has been 20 years since sponsorship began. Loyal former sponsors, some of whom have unfortunately passed away, and always new ones, with whom we share our life and our work, our concerns, and who are always ready to help us in their own way. Sponsors are first and foremost our customers at the cheese dairy, and over time, relationships have been formed.
