To visit us, access is only possible on foot via the GR5:

• From Roure: After the arboretum, park at the pass before the forest trail, 2 hours of walking, 520 m elevation gain.
• From Roubion: Take the gravel road to Vignols and start walking towards the Portes de Longon, 1.5 hours of walking, 330 m elevation gain.
• Alternatively, from the Col de la Couillole via the Col des Molines, from Isola via the Col de la Valette... from Roure via Mont Autcellier, from Roya via Col de Crousette and Mont Mounier, after several hours or days of walking for those coming from Briançon, Lake Geneva, Trieste, or Amsterdam.

The refuge is located in the central zone of the Mercantour National Park, dogs and mountain bikes are not allowed, and bivouacking is prohibited near the refuge (due to livestock and guard dogs).
